The conference room on the twentieth floor of Genesis Medical Laboratory's corporate headquarters was a study in corporate intimidation. Floor-to-ceiling windows offered a panoramic view of Seoul's financial district, the city sprawling beneath them like a kingdom to be conquered. The table itself was black marble veined with gold, easily fifteen feet long, surrounded by leather chairs that probably cost more than most people's monthly salary.
